The village website recently won the 2011 Digital Towpath Innovation Award for its historical information containing a written history of the village and several early photographs and postcards. Along with early photographs of village buildings visitors can also view how certain buildings look now. Various maps dating back to 1793 are also included. The website was recognized as being a historic resource for genealogists, historians or others interested in the history of our village. The Webmaster, Village Clerk Anita Adam, welcomes any additional photographs or other items of historic interest that could be included on the website. Items do not have to be donated to the village. Paper documents can be scanned and returned to the owner.
