The Barneveld Community Committee is appointed by the Village Board to plan community events, beautification projects and assist with historic preservation. Many of the members have been together since the village's Bicentennial celebration in 1993 on the former Bicentennial Committee. The committee is in charge of the annual village wide garage sale in June and helps plan the Festival of Lights in December.
